how it all began...

one night late in the evening, i was unable to sleep. mixing a drink of something that would soon bring me to the border of sleepy-town, i headed into the studio to find something to do until then. what to do? what to do? in a darkened corner, i noticed a large rubbermaid container. curious, i opened it up. inside were serveral balls of yarn, bundles of roving, and shiny knitting needles, among other things. i thumbed through the container and began creating a body out of what i found. next the arms. then the feet. soon eyes, a mouth and teeth appeared on the body. nothing human-like in appearance came of this work. daylight was breaking in the east. i had spent the entire night feverishly piecing together body parts when i realised what i had created. a monster! that night, the darkened corner of my studio had become a monster laboratory.

this was not an ordinary monster. no. not like the scary ones you see in “b” movies starring some guy named, “bella” or “lon”. no. this was a monster that actually scared the bad monsters. it was a guardian monster. a guardian that would take care of people in need around the world.

from that day on, i have been creating monsters in the laboratory. some say it’s madness that overtook me that night. i don’t know for certain. what i do know is, that for those who own one of these monsters, they fear no more.
